Long ago, I should have gone insane
just up and lost my mind,
in this hellish nightmare.
Layer upon layer
time and time again.
I've missed so much
of my daughters lives.
My tears run dry
liken to the sand of an hour glass.
I missed first foot steps
and first words spoken
first days of school
and first dates
first of my little girls blooming into women
Their Mom installed morals and values
but could not be Papa
and allow them to be Daddy's girls. ., I miss. . .
Even in this hellish nightmare
I still dream with hope and prayer,
To hear them laugh
to set around our dinner table
for them to come to me when needing advice
to take them shopping until they drop
I hope. . , I wish. . , I pray!
I know I must stay strong
but the pain won't go away
the more I hurt
the more I pray.
I love my girls, like any Daddy should
and much. ., much. ., more.

After many years of people falling along the wayside
so many broken promises. .,
so many false hopes.
I now have you: The truth.
The truth and love that's much deeper than
running a website
deeper and much stronger than
speaking out about my innocence.
This is friendship. .,
it is love. .,
it is my beloved extended family.
You rescued me and never let go.
If I was a mockingbird
and all I ever learned to sing-say was
'thank-you' . ., 'thank-you' . .,
all my life I would go about
thanking you,
until eternity!
And it will not have been enough giving of you my thanks.
